Angus Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence pursuant to the answer of 11 March 2004, Official Report, column 1654W, on Procurement Contracts (Scotland), what the total projected annual cost of the procurement contracts his Department placed with companies based in Scotland in (a) 2002-03, (b) 2001-02 and (c) 2000-01 was for each of the 10 years following the placing of the contracts; what the actual total cost was of the contracts placed in (i) 2002-03, (ii) 2001-02 and (iii) 2000-01 for the years for which information is available; and if he will make a statement. [170434] Mr. Ingram: The information requested in respect of the total projected annual cost of procurement contracts placed by the Ministry of Defence with companies based in Scotland is not held centrally. This data could be provided only at disproportionate cost (Exemption 9 of the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information).
