G20: Republic of Ireland

Question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what discussions she has had with Cabinet Colleagues on the potential merits of inviting Ireland to be an associate member of the G20 when the United Kingdom assumes the Chair in January 2027.

Answer

Planning for the UK’s G20 Presidency in 2027 is underway, and decisions on guest attendance have not yet been taken.
