To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, for what purpose the table Cost of European flights appears in section 3.7 of the current Treasury Budgeting Guidance; and if he will make a statement.

Matthew Taylor: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer for what purpose the table Cost of European flights appears in section 3.7 of the current Treasury Budgeting Guidance; and if he will make a statement. [104429] Ruth Kelly: In constructing budgets for Treasury teams, officials need to estimate the costs of official travel. The table is provided to help in that process.
