That this House notes the exellent record of Staffordshire County Council Education Committee and school swimming services in meeting the requirements of the national curriculum requirements in swimming in respect of Key Stage 2; and calls upon the Government to ensure that the standard spending assessment is reviewed to provide adequate provision for the majority of children in Key Stage 2 to enable the Authority to continue to meet the requirements of Key Stage 2.

That this House congratulates all those who have worked so hard to contribute to occupational therapy all year round; and particularly give its support to those local parents, Staffordshire Education Authority Youth and Community Service, Community Health Occupational Therapy Service and the Physiotherapy Service who are launching a Saturday Activity Club at Holden Lane School, Stoke-on-Trent, to help children improve their co-ordination skills.
