We look forward to working with the next Spanish Government to enhance the prosperity of Gibraltar and, indeed, the neighbouring regions of Spain. Whichever Government are in office in Spain, we will remain steadfast in our support for Gibraltar and will not discuss or agree any proposals that compromise British sovereignty.

The Government welcomes the interest and engagement shown by parliamentarians on the post-2015 agenda. Ministers and senior officials have already had significant engagement with parliamentarians on this issue and will continue to do so.

DFID welcomes the engagement parliamentarians have had on this agenda, including two Westminster Hall debates this year on Post-2015 and a number of APPG events, as well as the valuable role played by the International Development Committee. The Secretary of State for International Development, my right hon. Friend the Member for Putney (Justine Greening), intends to speak to APPGs after the summer recess and to continue to engage with Parliament over the next two years of negotiations on this important agenda.
