The UK firmly supports the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) restrictions on international trade in whale meat and whale products. In the EU, we prohibit international trade in all whale meat and products apart from in exceptional circumstances.I am not aware of any evidence of imports of such food products to the UK.
