As set out in the relevant country policy and information notes (CPINs), our own comprehensive assessment of Rwanda and their asylum process has found it is a fundamentally safe and secure country with a track record of supporting asylum seekers. Our CPINs are kept under constant review and updated periodically to reflect any significant new issues or evidence and are available on the Gov.uk website.
We regularly monitor and review the situation in Rwanda, working closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
