The Department is currently developing options for pilot projects between primary care trusts and local authorities and have identified a number of potential partners for these pilots. We are aware of a number of existing models of good practice in integrated information provision which we will evaluate. The development of the pilots will also be informed by the findings of the review of the provision of health and social care information, which is also a White Paper commitment.
