To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, which military assets are tasked with the defence of British Overseas Territories.

All of the UK’s military assets are available for the defence of the British Overseas Territories, subject to availability and operational requirements.
The Ministry of Defence undertakes regular assessments of potential military threats to all overseas territories to ensure that we retain an appropriate level of defensive capability to address any such threats.
As at 5 November 2014, in the attached the following military assets were present in the Overseas Territories and tasked with the defence of the Territory in question.
