Proceeding contribution from Lord Kakkar (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 21 December 2011. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Health and Social Care Bill.
Health and Social Care Bill
My Lords, I thank the noble Earl for his response, which I think recognises the fact that there will be a need continually to provide reassurance that the purpose of the Bill is not attended by unintended consequences, and an important part of that will be thorough post-legislative scrutiny. However, on the basis of the Minister’s response, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 354 withdrawn.
