Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will list the strategic reviews into the provision of acute hospital services that are taking place in the NHS in England; and when those reviews are due for completion.

Answer: Chris Grayling: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list the strategic reviews into the provision of acute hospital services that are taking place in the NHS in England; and when those reviews are due for completion. [91479] Mr. Hutton: All strategic health authorities are in the process of developing local delivery plans for the next three years. These will show systematically how improvements will be made locally to deliver the increases in capacity and quality set out in the priorities and planning framework 2003-06 and will include acute hospital services. Plans are due to be submitted to the Department by the end of March 2003.
