Question: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his Answer of 3rd February 2000, 343 c721W, on day-old chicks, if he will list each of the countries within and outside the EU from which day-old chicks were imported in 1999, and the numbers imported from each country. - Including table. The total for imports from other member states has been revised and therefore varies from the figure given in my reply of 3 February. The figures given in the table are still provisional and subject to further validation.
