- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the government of Afghanistan on the number of women imprisoned for zina in Afghanistan since 2005; and if he will make a statement.

I have not held any specific discussions with my Afghan interlocutors on the imprisonment of women for zina-related offences. However, we continue to work with our international partners to press the Afghan Government to uphold its commitments under the Afghan Constitution, which includes equal rights for men and women.
