- To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills when he plans to issue guidance to local authorities on the implementation of his proposed all-age careers service.
- Answer

We will set out more detailed plans for the establishment of an all-age careers service—including to local authorities—shortly. The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Department for Education are discussing those plans with local authorities, schools, colleges and representative bodies, and a formal advisory group has been established to oversee the implementation of the new service.
