Unfair Dismissal Claims

- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what percentage of unfair dismissal claims which were upheld by an industrial tribunal resulted in reinstatement of the claimant in each of the last four years.

The percentage of unfair dismissal claims upheld by an Employment Tribunal which resulted in an order for reinstatement in each of the last four years ranges consistently from 0.1 to 0.2 per cent. of cases.
