Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many full-time police officers there were as at 1 April 2006 in the (a) Northern, (b) Central and (c) Southern Division Basic Command Units of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

The latest available information is as at 31 March 2005. Part-time figures for BCUs are not collected centrally. As at 31 March 2005, there were 1,392 full-time police officers and 40 part-time police officers in Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
